We are so very excited, we have been looking for awhile and we finally found one that meets all the things that we want. It is in Hurricane whice helps with the gas and driving for Brandon and I to go to work, and I can keep the boys in this elementary. I will be posting pics soon as we will be moving in 2 weeks. Christians Riding Horse

Christian has started riding lessons and this is his horse. He's name is Moose and he stands 17 Hands tall. They just love eachother and they work well together. Rain or Shine Christian has been out riding him. It is amazing! Finally Toryen got on and had a ride.

Thanksgiving was so fun this year. We just had Josh & Steph, Rob & Christy, Dad & Mom, and Brandon I and the boys. It was small and we just made what each of us wanted and then hung out and watched The Family Stone. It was a really good day!

We have been go go go for the past 3 months and we needed to get away. We decided to take a weekend down at the timeshare in Vegas, just our family. It was great! We Swam, went to Circus Circus, ate at Benihana's and saw some great friends! It was so worth it!

The kids have really enjoyed moving back to Southern Utah. They can play outside without me always hovering (I still hover they just don't know it) Another great thing is the cousins and friends. I have been trying to decide Yea or not to stop working! Brandon has a great job that he loves and it wil be tight but we can make it on just what he makes! So Yes! Well really I just went on call and I still will work a bit just not as much.
The boys seem to be happy about it and Brandon seems a bit more happy! Who knows?
Is it sad that I really enjoy working and I am so sad to not be as much! But it is what it is and we always said our family will come first!

Fruit from our tree, or rather my parents but they re not here so we are taking credit! There was alot!!!! They taste oh SO Yummy too!

This is the boys after we got done with the Apricot Tree. They were pretty tired!

Today was a good day, The tree was ready for picking! It took us about 30 min and the boys had a blast! They taste oh so yummy too!

Wow there was alot! It took the boys and I almost an hour to pit them and get them put away!

We had fun and the boys worked really hard and stuck to it the whole time!

We had so mush fun out at the lake. It so happened that we had nothing to do and were just sitting around. I couldn't take it anymore and so we dicided to go to the lake.

The kids all had fun the water was great and the sand was so warm. however when we got out EVERYONE started to itch! I was so not happy! The ride home was STRESSFUL Christian and Koy got the worst of it, they must be so sweet.

Everyone is doing well know and I am hoping it stays that way they said it takes about 2 weeks to see if your going to break out or not and we have 1 more to go. Note to sef and others DON"T swim at Sand Hollow!

We went and watched Mikyla at the Miss Wash County Pageant She did so amazingly well. I am so very suprised that she didn't get a spot (the girls who did where VERY fake and not even that great and that is not because I think Mik should have won although she should have!!!) Anyway I loved to watch her dance and she looked so Beautiful.

I love when these dark storm clouds roll in over my parents house! I remember when we use to sit outside as a family and watch them. When it was storming and you could hear the thunder and see the lighting we would count and see how far away we thought it was. It was great to sit out there with my boys and do the same thing!

Relay For Life

This was my favorite part. We got to walk a lap in memory of someone else and Carry there lighted bag. It was amaxing to see all the emotions that come with cancer. The people at this event were great and the stories they shared. It was fun to be with the Gubes and with my girls. If you ever are around a Relay for Life I encourge you to stop by, Donate and walk a lap or 2.

We had so so much fun at this event. We worked at the Bounce House and ran the Relay store.

Jedi Knights

Toryen turned 6 on April 28th. I nkow I am a bit late getting this posted. He wanted a Star Wars Party so I had Jedi Training. It was so fun the little boys just ate it up. I made Light Sabers out of Duct tape and Pool noodles. The played Acid Bubbles and soom other little games. Then they had to go through the end course that tested all there skills. They all passed of course and Became Jedi Knights.

I got to spend an entire day with my boys on Sunday with no work or anything else we had to do. We went for an amazing 4x4 ride. I got to thinking about just how much i don't get to see them and how they are growing up so fast. I miss them SO much. They are both doing Soccer and Gymnastics right now and going to school. I miss being home when they get there are around when they need me. I know that we are doing what we need to do and we will be bless for it. I also wanted to thank B- for all that he does. He is so great and taking care of the boys, brings a whole new meaning to the "Mr Mom" song. I love all 3 of you thanks for the great day!

Horse Sale

The boys loved working with the horses. They had to brush them and wipe them all down when they were down riding.

At the youth ranch that I work at they have a horse sale every year and theis one was great. karen and my mom cooked the BEST dutch oven Chicken and Potatoes. and the boys hung out all day around the horses and all the goings ons that was happening. Labor Day is as you know my parents biggest show in Fort Bridger, and to add to the crazy, we decided to add the Soilder Hollow Classice to the weekend. So My Parents and Christian along with Angus and Guess went and did Fort B and Brandon, I and Toryen went and did Soldier Hollow. It was tons of fun and very hard, but we got it done. We meet up in Heber on Tues morning and started to drive home. Making tons of stops and dilling with the trucks, trailors, kids, and dogs. We got to Fillmore to set up the next show for this weekend and let the boys and Dogs run around for a bit. It took us (with all the stops) from 9 in the morning to 8:30 at night to make a 4 hour drive! What an Adventure!!!

To all Family and Friends,

The Summer is drawing to a close and soon school will be back in session. In efforts to grasp the remaining few days of summer sunshine and freedom, we're going to have a LAKE DAY...

What: LAKE DAY
Where: Quail Lake, i know! you're thinkin why not Sand Hollow, beaches, and room to play, well the answer is Swimmers itch, little bites that itch for days and the kids will be miserable..
When: This Thursday 30th , Friday 31st, and maybe Saturday, on Thursday we're shooting for 9ish for a start, so come when you can
Why: I feel that the opening paragraph touches on this, but also because we got some boats, some cool family, but mostly because we need to get together to remember how much we love each other.. (sometimes it's easy to forget)
How: Well I know that most people will be working and busy, but we decided to have this get together close, so that no matter what you have goin on, you can make it for a few hours at least..

So, back to the lake. There was talk of camping over at the lake, but the idea of paying for a place to set up a tent/camper when hours of painstaking labor have been invested in the fertile, lush, pastures of lawn at Bud and Malawna's, it just seems to make sense to take advantage of that pioneering and gather there... also the minor fact that grass will be cooler/softer than asphalt.

Anyways, as always these functions cannot go on without the presence of mass quantities of food.. For lunches: We think that an individual family picnic is typical. Dinners: we're thinkin that dutch oven potatoes and chicken are definatly in order. like always if everyone can bring a salad or something to throw into the mix it would be greatly appreciated.. Breakfast: Lets not forget this is the most important meal of the day... The grills will be available for the works. so if you can bring enough food for your own fam we'll throw it all together.

In short, to avoid waying ourselves down with a heavily laden agenda, we're going to play this fast and loose.. AKA "Darrington Style" We got the general idea on the food (if we're short little ceasars is just down the road and lets be honest, when has being short on food been a problem?) we know what to do in the Water (if not you will shortly be educated) and we love the company... So unless you want to be THAT FAMILY MEMBER grab some shorts, some food, and your favorite water toy and get your butt to the lake...

So, it is true we are moving home to Southern Utah. Things are just not picking up in Vegas as far as B's job and it is time to move on. Sadly and Happily the moving on is moving us right back into my parents house. (no offence Mom and Dad we love you) The kids are going to be going to school there and Bran is going to hold out here for as long as he can, but it is not looking good. Thanks to everyone for there prays and all that you do for our little family. We are so very blessed and know that something will pan out for us.

We are having so much fun this summer. The weather is a bit crazy and we never know what we are going to get from one day to the next and that is fun in itself, it keeps us guessing! Things we have been doing....hiking, biking, climbing, jumping, swimming, crusing, playing, sailing, moving, grooving, driving, nights out, days in, singing, sharing, Church, hanging, camping, and much more....Hope your enjoying your moments and not stressing about what you can't change! For family home evening we had our lesson and song and all the fixins that go with family night. We made S'mores with fondu sticks and our emergency candle. It was really fun and sticky. The boys loved it and now ask to do S'mores every night.

It's a SAD Day! Agian!!!

So yestarday the boys were running around in the house and one of them tripped over my External Hard Drive cord and pulled it off the desk, braking the USB input and the little black box inside. Thus making it so I can't plug it into my computer. I thought "Thats ok, it has a warrenty and they can get the info off" Well after being on hold for over 20 minutes. It took the man on the other end 5 Seconds to Shatter that hope by telling me "It is easier and saves us money to just give you another Hard Drive, Therefore we DO NOT fix them."

So another thought came into my head to take it to the Geek Squad and then agian they told me that when it fell it shoved the cord to hard into the black box and there is no way to get the info off. Thus ALL my pictures are gone and a bunch more stuff but the Pictures are all I cared about. Thank goodness for my blog that I have put so many on there.

So I am asking that if you have any pic's of my boys or my family can you email them to me? Thanks so much.

I was visiting with a friend this past evening and she brought up a great point. Can you store seeds for planting a garden? I thought this a great question, because It is great that we are doing food storage but then what? If the time comes that the food is running low are we going to have the means (SEEDS) to make more? Let me know your thoughts and things you are doing.

Frustration with my Boys!

I have been telling my boys for 4 days to clean there room and Low and Behold it was not clean YET this morning. I being a really bad mom (quote from Christian and Toryen) Told them that they had tell NOON to clean it or I was going to, and they would not be aloud in there closet until I say. Well if you have ever been to my house, EVERYTHING they have (toys clothes books) is in there. So we went on with our day and I, the bad mom, kept telling them that they had such a such time left or I was going to do there room. So about 11:3o I started to make lunch got it all on the table and called them in to eat RIGHT AT NOON! I politly asked them if there room was done and as matter of factly Christian says "No, you say your going to take all our stuff away and we know you really wont so we didn't do it" AS THE FLAMES WERE RISING FROM ME. I stormed in there room, cleaned, and took everything away! They were shocked! I felt better!

A bit of back ground to all who don't know what I am talking about. When we were growing up in Hurricane there was the COOLEST big hill that we loved to ride in the wagon down. Our mom would yell at us, so we waited tell they left and did it anyway. They ALWAYS found out! Granted there were many a HARD crashes. We loved it though. I always said that if I ever had kids they wouldn't do it, because as FUN as it was we knew (yes mom) that we COULD really get hurt. So as I was taking pictures of my boys doing the VERY thing I said I WOULD NOT let them do I started to laugh!

Oh it's been along couple of weeks. They were all very fun and I am so glad that I got to see all the family and hang out with everyone. I am also so glad that I am home. It is nice to just be in ONE place for awhile. I never thought I would miss Vegas more then I liked being home but I did. Mostly I missed Brandon. He stayed and worked while I went and played and helped my parents. Thanks for all the fun Darringtons, Johnsons, Gublers, Granny, Dad and Mom. I am glad that we got to spend ton's of time together.

Hiking at Zion

We went to see Josh and Steph's new store in Springdale and Decided to hike one of the smaller hikes at Zion. It was us my dad and mom and Josh and Steph. We had ton's of fun as always when we go to Utah.Plus did you know that my Dad and Brandon had NEVER been to Zion National park!!! That is crazy!!! If you have never been, it is AmaZIng. You should go. Stop in at Zion Lyon and tell my brother hello too.

Scout Walk

We went on this walk with the Hulets so that Christian and Marshell could get there Leave NO Trace Badge. It was Max Marshell Simon Christian and Toryen. They picked up trash along the trail and they hauled a lunch with them. After they were done picking up trash and hiking we walked to the park and had lunch and played for a bit. Thanks for coming Hulets We love to hang out with ya!

Fire Station Tour

We went to the Fire Station for Toryens class. The Firemen were "Really Cool" as the boys said! They showed them all over and the kids got to climb in, on, and around everything.

First Swim Outside 09

Well it has been so nice that we just had to take advantage. Josh was down visiting so we deciced to go to the Can Cun. It was so fun and the boys still LOVE the water. I am not surprised! Toryen went down the big slide for the first time and loved it. It took a bit of screaming and pushing but I told him I loved him and would not make him do anything he wouldn't love( that is kinda not true) So yes I pushed him down the first time!!! I have to say after that he needed no help and He though a fit when I said it was time to go.

We had a blast!!! Thanks Judds We went to this place for a birthday party. It has two rooms of bounce houses and slides and all sorts of fun things. It is were we are having Toryens party in April.

Man those are so handsome boys The Mammoth is part of the playground that they have there, the snake in the lower pic wraps around some of the park.

We spent the afternoon at the springs it was great and tons of fun.

Yes I the great sister kept my brothers 2 Labs overnight in my little apartment. It was tons of fun and I have had them before, I just never had a Cat at the time. Needless to say it was interesting. (and a long night) Gadge was really good and just went to sleep. Mo on the otherhand was at my bathroom door driving me crazy. The cat would scratch to come out and Mo would wine to eat the cat. If I wasn't so tired it would have been pretty funny.

Christian had to have surgury on his mouth yesterday and he is doing great. Everything went as planned and the dentist was very pleased. He had all his dental work done and they opened his bite a bit by cutting away some of the tissue in the back. He also has to have a mouth plat in and that sucks, but it is what it is right! All is well and good we are just really tired. Brandon has been working crazy hours and we hardly ever see him anymore, but he has a job and here in Vegas that is something to be thankful for! I don't babysit anymore and that is good and bad. the boys are just crazy and full of energy. Thanks for checking in!!!

Ya it's true we rescued a kitty. I have never been a cat person but my boys really wanted one and I am a sucker So we got this one. He is really good and I don't have to do anything really to take care of him. He love's the boys and is very playful. Secretly I think I always wanted one though!

Masters of the Rip Stick

Oh my Goodness! This is one of the funniest things you will ever see. Josh (my brother) and Christian are really into the Rip Stick when we go run the dogs or are just hanging out. First it was that they were just trying to stay on the stupid thing alone and Lo they had mastered that so now they are trying to ride it together. Josh will get it started and then Christian RUNS and jumps on the front. The funny part is watching them trying to keep it going together. It's a good chuckle.

My Boy (Christian)

I am so excited for tomorrow, Christian is coming home! he has been in Toquerville (Utah) for a week and 1/2 and I have missed him so much. I was happy that he wanted to spend a couple days with his Grandma and Grandpa and then it turned into 4 days and that was alright but harder, Then my brother (his ride) decided not to come home to Vegas for the weekend. That added 3 MORE days and him coming home on Sunday. Now 8 days later and He is coming home tomorrow. I have missed him TONS and I was thinking at the first of this that I was glad he wanted to be gone for a couple days. I need to remember how much I miss him right now when he is getting on my nerves. I love you Christian David Haynes!!!

Josh and Steph Going down a SCARY hill. It was super steep worse then what it looks like in the picture. It gave me big butterflies in my stomach, it was AWSOME. We had tons of fun on this ride and lots of luck too. No one got hurt, I dropped my camera and my husbands FAVORITE Michagan sweater in different places and we found them both. Most of all it was just nice to hang out with family. I love my Fam.

That Old Tree

That old tree has stood in it's place for years. It is a tree at my parents house which used to be my grandparents house. It has Seen & Heard many things. This tree has been a fort, shade, support for some, a curse for others, Covered a playhouse, Strength for a pond, a diving board, a club house, a swing , and many many other things. I am sure there are memories in this tree that date back to when Uncles, Aunts, Cousin's and Friends can remember being very Young. It is very old and had to come down.
